This wasn’t minor damage; it clearly resulted from poor packaging and lack of quality checks. To make matters worse, the supplier listed the shipping time as 30 days, even though they were fully aware that sea freight takes 60–90 days. Because of this unrealistic timeline, by the time the goods arrived and we inspected everything, we were already close to the deadline for opening a dispute through Alibaba. That left us with very limited time to take proper action against a clearly unsatisfactory shipment.
